With this free version, you can make mind map, fishbone chart known as cause and effect diagram, insert information into a spreadsheet format, insert image icons used to represent attributes on a map, use inline notes, and export maps into a variety of formats such as Html, PNG, GIF, JPEG and BMP.
The software is cross platform mind mapping software and available for three main operating systems include Windows, Linux and Mac. XMind free is also available as portable version where you can install it on your USB drive, and used on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux 32-bit and 64 bit. The flexible thing is that you can take it with you wherever you go. The program is available for several languages including English, German, Japanese, Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional.
